It's been more than 15 years since Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Eminem toured North America during their 2000 Up In Smoke Tour and the last we heard about a second tour was back in 2009 when rapper Bishop Lamont teased a second Up In Smoke Tour to coincide with the release of Dr. Dre's scrapped album "Detox."
Dr. Dre never released "Detox," but he did release "Compton" in 2015 and during a recent interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Snoop Dogg teased the possibility of a second Up In Smoke Tour featuring Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem.
"We're trying to get it together. Dre said he want it to be myself, him, Kendrick, Eminem. It's a wishlist that can possibly become a reality, if all parties agree," the rap legend explained in this recent interview. "I'd love to make it happen. I love everybody involved and I ain't trying to get all the money. I just want what I'm worth and I'm gonna' do what I do."
A tour between the four would make sense as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar all released albums in 2015 and if Eminem releases a project in 2016, the tour could support their albums.
Eminem's last tour was the 2013 three-city, six-date Monster tour with Rihanna. While the tour only featured six dates, it was still one of the highest-grossing North American tours of 2014, with a gross of $36 million.
